Construction has started in Eagle Grove, Iowa, at Gold-Eagle Cooperative. Crews broke ground in May on a new design-build 16,000 SF maintenance building addition. The pre-engineered Ceco building will have 5 bays, a mezzanine for part and tire storage, an oil containment pit, and an office. The project is expected to be completed by November.
The new maintenance shop will be a hub where the entire Gold-Eagle truck fleet will be serviced. Between all of their tractors, trailers, tenders, pickups, etc., they have more than 350 units in their fleet.
Gold Eagle is a full-service cooperative with several locations across north central Iowa.
