Ashley Furniture will be opening to the public on Saturday, November 18 in Mason City. Previously a Kmart, Ashley Furniture bought the entire 250,000 SF space with plans to split the building into 4 spaces. As the largest furniture outlet in the world, Ashley Furniture & their HomeStore will take up 37,000 SF. Harbor Freight Tools will be leasing one of the spaces, and they are currently looking for other businesses to lease out the remaining space.
Dean Snyder Construction started earlier this summer on overhauling the building. The interior was completely gutted while crews also renovated the store front façade. Included in the project was a 14’ x 40’ loading dock addition.
