Fareway in Cedar Falls opened their doors to shoppers on January 17. Customers in this store are the first to try out “Fast Lanes,” a new concept for Fareway that is similar to self-checkout. The 21,000 SF store built by Dean Snyder Construction also has an expanded meat counter with more fresh fish and seafood, grab-and-go meal kits right up front, and refrigerated islands. This is the 123rd Fareway in the Midwest.
