St. Ansgar Community School District Bus Barn

Project Description

The St. Ansgar Community School District has a new state-of-the-art 14,900 SF transportation facility with twelve-bays for buses and eight van parking spaces. The CECO pre-engineered building includes a maintenance bay, wash bay, tool storage room, office space, restroom, a small parts storage mezzanine, and a cold storage room for salt and sand. The building is fully-insulated with in-floor heat throughout.

The project lasted approximately eight months, benefiting from an ideal timeline that began with concrete work commencing in the summer and concluded with interior finishing through the winter.
