DSC crews started this spring on the remodel of an existing building for a 5,000 SF full-service Fareway meat market at 3720 Lincoln Way in Ames in the former Sports Page location. The store will have high-end finishes with a wide selection of meat in a meat case stretching 52’, with expanded seafood and sushi, artisan cheeses, wine, craft beer and other items. There is a targeted completion date of fall 2018. It has been recognized as a WORKSAFE Project by MBI.
This will be Fareway’s third meat market store and the first in Iowa. DSC also built the one in Omaha, NE and in Lincoln, NE. Fareway also operates two grocery stores in Ames.
