Starting in October, crews built a 3,900 SF cooler addition onto Kabrick Distributing in Mason City. Designed by DSC Design Group, the building features Ceco insulated metal panels, a single slope metal deck with insulated tpo roof membrane, and Ductilecrete fiber reinforced concrete slab for its underslab insulation slab. Helping to keep the building as energy-efficient as possible, a high-speed overhead door was installed along with motion-activated lighting. This cooler addition is an upgrade to their current cooler in terms of size and efficiency.
Kabrick is a family-owned, Anheuser Busch distributing company that has been doing business in Mason City for 54 years.
