Dean Snyder Construction’s Field Safety Coordinator Russ DeFord was awarded the Safety Professional of the Year award on Wednesday, February 28 at the Annual Master Builders of Iowa winter conference.
This award spotlights the most dedicated and innovative safety professionals and their achievements in safety both within their company and in the construction industry. Russ has been with DSC since 1993 and has been the Field Safety Coordinator since 2008.
Dean Snyder Construction was also recognized as a finalist for the Leadership in Workforce Recruitment award. This award recognizes the outstanding efforts of companies who are actively engaged in solving our industry’s labor shortage and has displayed exceptional effort, engagement and leadership in communicating to future industry workers that there are career opportunities in the commercial construction industry.
